It was a good trip to Bend, but we missed Nathan and Kellen. They spent 5 days in California bear hunting. When they got home it was fun to see the boys so excited to see each other again. Kellen got to go see an old mine and brought home some treasures from that, which he shared with his brothers. I wish I would have video taped them talking about their adventures...so cute.

Brock, Gus, Samantha and I got to go to Bend for the weekend. We went to the High Desert Museum, and they really enjoyed that. Brock is at the age where he is really enjoying learning about history, so it was a good opportunity to learn! They had fun in the snow too:) We got to stay at a hotel with an indoor swimming pool, so they enjoyed that. All in all it was a good trip!

A day off
I took the boys to see UP at the cheap movie today. It was fun to spend an entire day just doing something fun with the kids. We met some friends from church there, and watched the movie then Brock spent some of his birthday money on a new game for his gamecube. I did no housework today, no paperwork...ahhh, that was sooo nice! Nathan and Kellen and Gus are leaving soon to go to California, so I packed their clothes and am getting the cooler ready. It will just be Brock and sissy and I for a few days. The boys' teacher conferences are tomorrow, and I am looking forward to seeing how Kellen is doing his first year of school! At least they aren't forcing the poor kid to watch Barney anymore, he HATED that! I heard about it almost everyday the first couple of weeks. Well, that's all I know that's new with us! If you get on here, leave a comment, it's fun to hear from all of you too:)

I know this is kind of a bad picture, but I lost my camera for a couple weeks, and all I had was my phone camera at the pumpkin patch...The boys picked the biggest pumpkins they could carry! Brock was Harry Potter for Halloween, Kellen was a white ninja, Gus was a cowboy and Samantha was a princess. We walked around Monroe, and went to a couple family's houses. Gus was sooo very excited to knock on people's doors and get candy! What a great idea:) He ran from door to door, it was very entertaining. I got no pictures, because I still couldn't find my camera. (I found it yesterday in a purse I wasn't using anymore) I guess that's what I get for switching purses weekly!

Tomorrow is Gus's birthday. He will be 4. I'm not sure how I feel about that right now. He is so excited, we have been doing the countdown since Brock's birthday on the 29th of October. Every morning he wakes up and asks me how many more days. I think about 5 times today he asked me if it was tomorrow yet. He keeps asking me how much longer until he gets to be a Daddy like his Daddy. So cute. I keep telling him to slow down and be a little boy. He's not really into that idea. He spent the whole day today running around with his new nerf double barrel shotgun shooting stuff. (Thanks Uncle Nick and Aunt Abbey) He was glowing. Anytime he feels like a big boy like his brothers life couldn't get better in his little world. I wish I could bottle up the wonder of being a little person:)

Here is our first family photo with our complete family...at least we are hoping this is it!
We went up to the Bellfountain park and Nathan's sister Errin took our pictures, thank you Errin:) I can't believe we have four kids, and I really can't believe how fast they are growing up. Brock is halfway old enough to drive a car. Sometimes I feel like I need to pinch myself.
A new adventure
Hello Everyone!
I am starting a blog, mostly to keep family and friends updated on stuff about the kiddos, I am going to tone down my facebook posts about personal stuff. Funny how many of your "friends" on facebook aren't people you really want to share everything with:) So if you are here, we love you and trust you with sharing our kids lives! I am brand new at blogging, so be patient with me, and advice and tips are very welcome!
